Cassie Foster

Hi all! My name is Cassie Foster and I’ve been teaching at Spotlight for the past 3 years as your fellow dance technique teacher. I, myself, have been dancing for over 23 years and have always loved supporting the arts. I’m originally from Porterville, CA where I danced at Deenie’s Dance Studio up until college. I learned many different styles of dances like ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, pointe, and Broadway (that I established myself!). I loved dancing so much that I even started teaching my own classes at the age of 12. In high school I also participated in Women’s Choir, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir along with being a part of the varsity cheer squad for all 4 years. After graduating I chose to continue my love for dance and moved out to Orange County to attend Cal State Fullerton and get my Bachelor’s degree in…Dance! While wrapping up at CSUF I chose to start working at the “Happiest Place on Earth” where I started working in Main Street Stores then transferred to the Guest Talent Programs department where I currently host and coordinate groups from all walks of Performing Arts and get to support their events. On top of working at the Disneyland Resort for the past 9 years, I am also a dance teacher for Dancing In Harmony, teaching at multiple preschool locations all throughout South Orange County with over 100 little ones (Ages 2-7, so cute!). I look forward to teaching another year at spotlight and hope to grow my classes too.
